Bill Daugherty is Managing Partner of BlackRidge Stables LLC, a Lexington-based organization formed for strategic investing in Kentucky’s thoroughbred industry. BlackRidge Stables’ initial investments included participation in the legendary California Chrome (winner of the 2014 Kentucky Derby, 2014 Preakness Stakes, and the 2016 Dubai World Cup) and Cathryn Sophia (winner of the 2016 Kentucky Oaks), and it currently maintains interests in a number of thoroughbreds spanning the racing and breeding aspects of the industry.
Horse racing has made its lap around the world, and has created a global infatuation with the sport and its equine stars. Get a glimpse into how Kentucky is leading the race in agriculture and equine exports and how that ultimately impacts your business.
